The most important benefit of urgent care is it provides quick access to the medical care you need. When you seek urgent care at Elite Medical Clinic, you can count on compassionate attention from a team that cares about you as a person and provides individualized treatment.

Urgent care in the office also gives you a less-expensive alternative to the emergency room. 

• Fevers
• Flu and cold symptoms
• Vomiting or diarrhea
• Sore throats and earaches
• Headache that doesn’t go away
• Chronic pain
• Sprains, strains, and minor fractures
• Wounds needing stitches

Many other conditions are severe enough to require a same-day appointment, especially those that cause acute symptoms, like a urinary tract infection or skin infection.

As a general guideline, these conditions require emergency room treatment:

• Fever in newborn (less than three months old)
• Heavy bleeding
• Compound fracture (bone sticking out through skin)
• Seizures and loss of consciousness
• Severe burns
• Poisoning
• Serious head or neck injury
• Signs of a heart attack (chest pain, back or jaw pain, difficulty breathing)
• Signs of a stroke (weakness or numbness on one side of face or one arm, difficulty speaking)
