PeP

We can prescribe PEP to you at our office.
These medications are taken after possibly being exposed to the HIV virus
PEP should be taken only in an emergency situation
PEP must be started within 72 hours of possible exposure.
You need PEP if think you may have been exposed to HIV during sex (for example, if the condom broke),
You need PEP if you may have been exposed through shared needles and works to prepare drugs (for example, cotton, cookers, water),
You need PEP if you were sexually assaulted. If you believe you were sexually assaulted please call the police immediately and go to the closest emergency room.
You need PEP if you are a healthcare worker and may jave been exposed to HIV.
